With about 15 years of international experience in the telecommunications industry, Jörg is a leader who is passionate about this business. He is known to challenge existing business operating models and is deeply committed to ensuring customer satisfaction. Jörg has a strong focus on execution, believes in open communication and team working to ensure the best result for customers and the company.

Jörg joined Nokia in 1994 and has held a number of senior management positions in Services, both in Marketing and Operations, as well as Sales. He held these positions in several locations that included the United Kingdom, Italy, Finland, Germany and Singapore.

In his previous role, Jörg was responsible for the service business of Nokia Siemens Networks in the Asia Pacific Region. He developed the business to a strong level within a complex environment of developed markets and the global economical challenges.

Prior to joining Nokia, Jörg worked with RAG in Germany in the engineering industry.

Born in 1965, Jörg has a Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics and Telecommunications) from Fachhochschule Aachen, Germany. In his spare time, Jörg enjoys music, plays tennis, golf and likes to explore new places and cultures with his family. Based in Dubai, he is married and has two children.
