Sergio Duroux, Head of sub-region Turkey, Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Nokia Siemens Networks

Sergio joined Siemens Business Services in 1993 as a project consultant and project leader for process engineering projects. Between 1997 and 2001, he was the project leader for management audits on behalf of Siemens CEC. His responsibilities included local company audits in Denmark, Brazil and Ireland, and special audit tasks in the UK, France, Switzerland, Italy, Norway and Sweden.

Between 2001 and 2006, Sergio was Vice President of Business Development, Communications Mobile Networks, Siemens. During this assignment, he was responsible for leading a team conducting the business unit’s exogenous growth activities, for strategy development and implementation and for special projects on behalf of management.

Born in 1970 in Italy, Sergio holds dual citizenship with Italy and Germany. He has an MSc in Computing Science and a BEng degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, from London Imperial College of Science. He is interested in mountains, opera, the humanities and cooking. Sergio is married and has twin daughters born in 2001.
